Before You Book

A few things
worth knowing

All bookings include access to the shared infinity pool, sunbeds, wifi, air conditioning, and linen/towels. Direct bookings also include a welcome kit with small local treats. The Kythnos map, official island guide, and curated library are available in the house for you to use throughout your stay.
We don't apply a fixed minimum stay — it depends on the period and availability. Please contact us directly and we'll find the arrangement that works best for both.
From Merichas port, the drive to the property takes around 30 minutes. Follow the main road until this point on Google Maps, then turn right onto a 3.2 km dirt road — typical Greek island track. Follow the Kastellas Sunset signs placed at all the key junctions. A 4x4 or sturdy car is recommended — both for the last stretch to the property and for exploring the island's many unpaved beach tracks.
No — tap water on Kythnos is not potable. We provide one welcome bottle on arrival, but please stock up on drinking water at a supermarket before heading to the property — there are no shops nearby. Water is a scarce resource on the island and we ask all guests to use it mindfully. The reward is a stay that respects this fragile place.
No — there are no shops near the property. Stock up on water, food and anything you need before heading to Kastellas. Merichas has a couple of well-stocked supermarkets. An option with easy parking is Kritikos Supermarket is on the road to the property — a natural stop on the way up.
Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival — full refund, no questions asked. Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival are charged the full booking amount. For exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly — we are human, and we always try to find a solution.
The Maisonette is suitable for families with children, particularly in July and August. Please be aware of a few important safety points: the internal staircase is steep, the railings around the property are low and not childproof, the pool has no fencing and is not supervised — children must be supervised by adults at all times. The Studio is designed for couples and is best enjoyed as an adult retreat.
